Elarys

She shimmers where the hidden lights arise,
her thoughts – so hushed, so shy, so full of yearning –
like a fleeting star that graces midnight skies,
escaping dreams whose distance keeps on burning.

Here, there’s no room for half-lived days
life is lived with all that the soul can bear,
where dreams are far from dull or grey
and our souls merge until dawn’s glare.

Then maybe we will find that space,
where fingers meet in woven thread,
and hope shall guide us to that place,
a silky web where hearts are led.
