Today is the day I think of you.

I carry your memory beneath this sky’s hue.
Would your eyes hold wonder, endless and wide,
reflecting the stars, or the ocean’s tide?

Would your hands create, or your mind explore,
would you seek the unknown, always yearning for more?
The crescent of leaves holds a story untold,
a piece of the future you’ll never hold.

Would you love the world, or question its ways?
