(Find me) In Between

Our paths are set on different ground,
far off skies, and distant sound.
But I wonder if there’s space between,
a common place I sometimes dream.

Meet me at the line, where your world touches mine.

Your life is calm, your gaze is warm,
mine is shaped by endless storms.
Our paths may seem so far apart,
but there’s a place where they could start.

We linger, barely touching, like a spark that leaves no mark.

I don’t want words that fade away
or fleeting ties that break with day.
Between us lies a silent call,
a bridge half-built, a fragile wall.

Affection doesn’t care for where we start, it finds a way, it builds a heart.

Though we are worlds apart, somehow
I long for you, right here, right now.
I’ll bring my wild, you’ll bring your peace
and maybe then the storms will cease.

While distance stays I reach for you, hoping you might reach out too.

I seek to find you, take your hand,
but what if neither understands?
What if the middle ground we seek
is lost in words we’re scared to speak?

Though we are different I still believe, we could find more than we perceive.

So meet me in that quiet,
where thoughts begin to blend,
no borders, names, or dreams unseen,
just… Find me (In between).
