Lumière

When the power of silenced thoughts
speaks louder than words ever could,
that one sneaks back in mind, unsought,
and stills my heart, as nothing else would.

That fleeting moment on a winter night,
when time stands still, frozen tight,
a weary heart begins to leap,
and thoughts awaken from their sleep.

The stars fall asleep on golden sky,
restless night wraps itself in a blank.
The last drop falls with a gentle sigh,
and softly whispers, “tu me manques.”
