Unbound

A breather through an empty space,
unrushed by time, untouched by pace.
In shadows deep, my light is clear,
what sets me apart brings me near.

The air feels strange beneath my skin,
as if I never quite fit in.
I walk through dreams that others see,
but none quite feel the same to me.

Yet here I am, a fleeting glow,
on path I never thought I’d go.
I trace the edges, out of place,
a foreign light in endless space.
